Industrial surfaces fail differently
An industrial site does not go green so much as it goes black. Tire rubber laid down where trailers turn, hydraulic and diesel drips at the dock face, brake dust, and the gray film that settles on a building skin next to a highway. It is a different problem from a house wash and it needs heat, the right chemistry, and somewhere for the run-off to go.
What we clean
- Dock aprons and leveler pits — hot water and degreaser on the accumulated grease at the dock face
- Trailer courts and yards — rubber trails, staging areas and turning circles
- Building panels — metal, precast and tilt-up, soft washed so nothing is driven behind a lap or a fastener
- Dumpster and compactor pads — degreased and deodorized
- Bollards, curbs and painted safety markings — cleaned back to visible, which matters for more than looks
- Fenced compounds and gate areas
Containment is not optional
Wash water carrying oil, grease or solids cannot go into a storm drain. On sites where it applies we berm and block the drains, recover the water, and dispose of it through the correct route — and we document it. A contractor who hoses that into the nearest inlet has handed you a problem with your name on it, not theirs.
Working around your operation
Nothing here justifies stopping production. We phase by dock door or by yard section, work night shifts and weekends where that is the quiet window, and keep clear of live traffic routes with signage and cones. Your facilities lead gets a schedule showing exactly which areas are down and for how long.
Safety and paperwork
Certificates of insurance before mobilization, safety data sheets for everything we bring on site, site induction where you require it, and our own PPE and traffic control. If your site has rules, we work to them.
